prairie has a tiny little bedroom which we have configured many ways including a mezzanine bed. nothing ever hit the mark. tiny is tiny. so we pushed out an area slightly bigger than a single bed and its perfect. more windows, more light and there is nothing i love more than an atticy milly molly mandy, anne of green gables feel to a room.
i have always wanted an antique french daybed. since i knew there was such a thing. it was delivered last night and i have been up and down the stairs ever since so i can stand and gaze at it, so in love am i - and prairie too. she reported a very good nights sleep on her burgundian bed!
Mais oui, le lit bleu est tres magnifique!

What a perfectly wonderful space! I would have loved that as a child... curled up reading a book, eating an apple, and day dreaming out the window. Lovely!
