A friend has decided to homeschool her daughter (aged 11 - Class 5) and asked if I would do handwork with her and a couple of other girls.

Think I'll say yes but it's so long since I worked with this age group and I'll have to rack my brain for ideas (my pretty empty brain these days). Thanks for the inspiring post.

btw can't believe your Tommy has left school - Amber's in Class 11 now.

hello there, i remember you from my old blog and still visit you often. (i have been out of the blog world for a while, a break). i love your little owl, so so cute! i am a school nurse at a k thru 8th grade and i find that the 5th graders are just right. they are my favorites besides the little ones.thanks for stopping by and your kind comments!

love the owl.

i hope you remember your camera next week too, i'd love to see what the students create.

He is gorgeous and I am sure the boys were totally in to him as well.
