these went onto the needles after the wrist warmers. after all, i have that great big basket of yarn to work my way through. they are for prairie and the pattern i used was from the darling yarn store on bainbridge island, churchmouse yarns and teas. they were quick and easy and i learnt something - long tail cast on. cool. and cool being able to amble over to the computer and look up a tutorial and sit there with my knitting. with the same tutor i mastered kitchener stitch. i had always fudged this one so was great to get it right. thank you knit witch!
apparently they go well with clogs - i am off to get my replacement super birkies then i'll whip some up for myself!
Louise, I love your blog - especially love that you appear to have more wool than I do
( although I probably beat you in the fabric stash stakes).
