yesterday was the last lesson of the term for my seven and eight year olds. they have been knitting all year so i thought they might like a change. they did! i drew up a pattern and cut all the bodies beforehand. the ear fabric i made with fusible web and a couple of my lovely mother helpers cut them out. about half of the children managed to finish. i took the rest home to finish off so they would have them for easter. i just love their precious stitching - they put their all into each and every stitch. now they want to make trees at christmastime!
a basket of bunnies in the sunlight... sigh, how completely lovely.
(and now i *really* want to take a handsewing class from you!)

They're really sweet - any chance you might share the pattern - I'm sure my granddaughter would like to make one...
