the fair is behind us now - it was a beautiful sunny day with lots of people through the gate. the wooden horse was a roaring success and even though the fair ended at 3 we were still going till at 4 even though we had long since run out of medallions. 

one of my favourite things about the day is catching up with some old friends who take a stall and sell their beautiful work. tina taught me to make dolls and she is the only person (apart form my mother i guess) who has made me unpick something!!

i bought these sweet egg cups a few years ago

and they work equally well for ripening avocados!
