a while ago melissa posted about the yarn she and her sister were knitting matchy-matchy scarves out of. peppermint candy yarn - oh i so wanted some. so i wrote to melissa. over the course of a few e mails we had organised a red and white swap and today hers arrived - all the way from MN to NZ!
all beautifully wrapped - at this stage i was literally restraining prairie! and look what is peeking out at the bottom of the large red package!!!
the christmas carols were starting to play in my head! 3 great big balls of pepperminty goodness!
but there was more to come! a gorgeous hand made card and more yarn - nebraskan!
and more! i just love these - so pretty that i don't know if i will be able to bear putting them under the tap!
fabric and ribbons for holiday crafting!
and it is freezing here. the fire is lit and what better to do than hunker down with a fresh ball of yarn!
when in doubt, knit a pointy hat!
thank you melissa!
oohh I hope some of this makes it into the xmas window
