still on the cake toppers, i have progressed to birthdays and this is a special one. hannelore is the seed of our school. she came as a young woman in the 60s to auckland from germany and set up a waldorf kindergarten (radical stuff!) which eventually became a school. she turned 75 this weekend and the school are honouring this with celebrations today including of course, a cake!
i didn't know until i showed the doll to a friend, that hannelore used to have very long plaits.
a birthday girl has to have red bows on her shoes and french knots on her bloomers!
and a crown!
and at the end of the party be able to take off your crown.
alles Gute zum Geburtstag hannelore!!!
Awwww thats soooo beautiful! Love all the detail.

Louise I love your little wooden dollies. I am making a dolls house for my niece and would love some stand up people. I would really love to know where you get the wooden bodies from.
