prairie's birthday is fast approaching and this time last year i was busy getting ready for that party. she wants to have all the girls in her class again which is nice because there are some new girls this year. last years party was a lot of prep but a breeze on the day entertaining 18 girls - they barely left the table, in fact we had to take the food to them! because it worked so well i wanted to do something along the same lines. prairie wasn't so sure but once i started making some examples of what i had in mind she was was quickly on board. i saw a little toy in the marie claire bebe issue that looked something like this.....
what a fabulous party idea!
(i'm going to file this away in my brain until my daughter is old enough.)

Oh you are such a clever crafty mum. They all look so delightful. What a fantastic idea. I am sure it will be a wonderful party and you must take some photos of all the wonderful creations they do.

Oh now I am pleased to read this. As you know I contacted you last year for some more info on your other Prairie party. Well I did one similar for my daughters 5th birthday party and it went down a storm (a little quick because I had to adapt because the kids were younger).
I can't wait to see and hear how this one goes!

I would love to do something similar for my daughter' party. How old is your daughter? Just want to get a reference of how old the girls should be to have such a party. Thanks.

HI Louise,
Thanks for getting back to me. I figured out this morning about the age thing because of the birthday cake with 12 candles in the earlier post. :)
I was happily showing your party idea to my daughter. She looked at the dolls and she understood her limit. Have to wait for a little while before we will have something like this.
