since the arrival of ruby tuesday we have been trawling the net looking for blythe doll patterns. i found this one and was all set to cast one when prairie said she would do it. she has been home with what will hopefully be the last in a long line of colds over the winter. i casted on, did the ribbing and she did the rest. of course i was there on call. she sat virtually all day yesterday knitting her little heart out and this morning finished the armholes and neck. it was a great way of introducing shaping with such a teeny form. she couldn't believe it when she got nearly half way through the row then had to turn! she is using size 2 needles and the gorgeous yarn which i got here. i am allowed to advise but no odd row here and there - i have say though, that i am one proud mamma!
