i had forgotten about these liitle beauties. they were on quite a busy road and my beady eyes thought they looked interesting and worth pulling in around the corner. they are, i would think early 60's with that colour and the little transfers. they look like someones dad or grandad made them. i don't know how people can part with things like this. the dressing table has little slots at the back so it once had a mirror.
i cleaned it up and love the distressed paint. i did replace the drawer pulls with some little buttons we found new but the image looks vintage and the colours are perfect. and i couldn't resist making a coathanger. now to find some lucky dolls. the groovy girls methinks.
So cool...lucky finds for someone so creative!

Are you saying that they were actually at the side of the road? If so, wow!They are really quite funky looking and look like one could take them in any number of directions. Fun stuff!
