progress in more than one camp

i am crocheting up a storm in the evenings and here is the proof! i haven't had the heart to work out how many squares i actually need, i just like making a few, sewing a few ends in and then sewing a few together and watching it grow. i decided to drop some red in here and there to give it a little spice!

now, look to the right and you will see the 'softies awards' button. i have never added anything like that before and it was soooooo hard. when i first set up my blog michael did all that stuff but this time i was detemined to get it there. such a cute button too! well i tried and tried and didn't really have a clue and in the end i e mailed the darling monica crying 'help!!!' she e mailed straight back with advise and i sat there till i got it. that has to be one of the most challenging things i have done in a long, long time and when that mysterious button finally showed itself i was so elated. how cool is blogsville when you can do things like that! so, these are for you, my 24/7 kiwi support xxx

Amazing blanket - love the addition of the red - those colours all work so well together. I too had fun & games trying to add the softie awards button - took ages to work out but it is a nice feeling when you actually manage it! Thanks for the cupcake eye-candy!
