that i don't do housework! here is the almost truth with my loulou doll that i made years ago. in fact i made one of each of us but could only find me today. i was scrubbing out the salvaged dollhouse and thought how happy i was to do that but not attend to the real thing! i ended up having a fine old time as i dusted off loulou and made an apron, head scarf and mop. then i figured she just had to have stockings and shoes painted on. this set prairie off on the same kind of doll she had started a while ago and had only got as far as the pants. after the cinderella act i found some test pots of very pale pink that we had for prairie's room so i started painting out the old paint job. it was a beautiful autumnal day and we spent most of it out on the deck. i have been thinking about my finds and realise that i have a thing for dwellings. we have a quite a few dollhouses dotted around and some beautiful little ornamental birdcages and houses. then heres something that you didn't know..... i am the basket queen of the antipodes. some of, if not all my dear grilfriends think i am a crazy woman! is a basket not just another dwelling?
i have to go and cook dinner now as i can't convince loulou to do it. have a lovely weekend!
Love the alter ego - what else does she do Lou? Wouldn't it be nice if she could cook the dinner and keep the house whilst we just blogged and skyped all day long?

Oh I love Loulou and her beautiful little apron! Amy has a lovely Dolls house but I think I have more fun playing with it than she does!
