there is hope!!!

the store has just left me a message to say that my mac will be back tomorrow or the next day. nearly 3 weeks. can you believe it?! thank you all for your lovely comments, i miss you all too but feel that everytime i blog all i do is moan about my lack of mac and feel that i can't possibly post sans photos. i am presently at home with prairie and we both have stinking sore throats so i have been knitting her blanket and watching 'little house on the prairie' which we have both thoroughly enjoyed and so she should. i'm sure her name has something to do with it!
did you ever read 'henner's lydia'? i just found my old old copy the other day. i loved that book so much. i started hooking a rug and i begged my mother to knit me a shawl and have a tin lunch pail made. i think she thought i was nuts and i never did get the shawl or pail but if i had i would have used them! i'm going to start reading it to prairie and i was looking on amazon a while ago and there are more books!! i wonder if she will have the same requests. if she does i will get knitting! but i must say that when i saw oklahoma and fell for that as well she did oblige with a gorgeous blue and white check dress with a white apron over the top, and i proudly wore that to school. she sure can sew my mum and can make anything on a machine but we always laugh that my handstitching is better than hers.
anyway michael has just phoned to say that he is coming home to pick up the laptop so thought i'd do one more laptop post and hopefully with the next one i'll be back on.
and here he is so here i go.

I hope you get your mac back soon! I miss all of your lovely pictures. My daughter loves Little House on the Prairie too - it was my favorite show as a kid, so I'm glad she likes it too and we're reading all the books (which I've now read about 100 times each!). Tell Prairie that Meaghan and Marshmallow (the hamster) say hello and hope she (and you) feel better!
