a friend asked me to make a dog as a present. an english bull terrier belonging to a couple about to get married. his name is che and though he looks a little tough, he is a big softie.
i decided to needlefelt him because i wanted to get the distinctive nose curve of this breed. i was touched to hear that the bride cried when she opened the package.
and, to give you an idea of scale i asked mr jupes to step in! who is the more handsome boy?!!
oh louise! he's absolutely precious! i can understand how the bride would cry, what a sweet and personal gift!
and that last picture made me laugh!

Perfect job of capturing the distinctive features of the breed! I loved seeing his little close-up face - obviously in addition to your talent and skill working with needle felting, you added a big helping of affection.
