i don't have a room in which to store all my bits and pieces and believe me there are a lot! i have an area in the lounge and the bottom of the stairs had morphed into a large messy cupboard. there are certainly no before photos and there are no after photos, yet. with the help of the sweet k (i could not have done it without her amazing help) we made an almighty dent. i am a great one for doing a quick tidy - sweeping things into a basket and thinking that i must sort that later. how many baskets later?!! this many and that isn't counting the cardboard boxes. sometimes i had to slide away for a little game of solitaire when it all got a bit over whelming - i was that person. i can relate.
on my deck in this late summer heat i have a pot of mesclun and one of cilantro/coriander. i saw the cilantro on pinterest and thought it was a great way to grow it. same as the mesclun - cut and come again. it is the king of herbs for me and there is nothing like fresh out of the garden. i have yet to take to them with the scissors though - still too delicate. my sweet baby seedlings. still, one whiff of that pungent cilantro and i will be edward scissorhands!
