i saw this all draped over the couch this morning and it had to be snapped. being the middle of winter here, as it has grown larger it is so delicious to be under - not a summer project! i have stitched 8 rows of squares together with only 2 rows to go! i have been wondering whether or not to put a border on it. i would do it in the cream that is in every square. but......i am swayed by my love of the border, that last little crochet run on the project after all the sewing up. and it would probably make for a strengthening around the edge if i did??? but...it does look good in its simplicity. what do you think? or shall i finish the sewing and lay it out? i'm impatient here too you know!
Beautiful and yes I would put a border on it. You will then feel that it is finished properly and stop thinking about whether you should have or not.

I would have to say yes to a border also. I just love how they finish a blankie! And this one is gorgeous!

Beautiful -- love the soft colors! I'm a border 'girl' -- just makes it look all tidy and finished, I think ;-).

It does look beautiful. Perhaps wait until it is all sewn before you decide to add the border.
